What’s happening in and around Grand Cayman this week……..

Don’t forget to check out the previous week’s update to see many more activities for this coming weekend…………….

New to Grand Cayman - The Dolphin Discovery –

opens on December 15th

The #1 Dolphin Company in the world arrives in Grand Cayman to give you the ‘experience of a lifetime’.  They are currently celebrating 14 years of bringing dolphins and humans together.

Since the days of ancient Greeks, there have been tales of dolphins befriending and sometimes rescuing humans from sharks or somehow guiding them to safety.  Human beings have been fascinated with dolphins; their curiosity, friendliness, playfulness, intelligence and strong family bonds, make dolphins the most similar creatures to humans; but they go beyond us in several ways with their unique, little understood, amazing gifts of echolocation and communication.

The Royal Swim - This is, undoubtedly, the most famous of Dolphin Discovery’s programs and can be summarized in two words: action and speed.  Two dolphins welcome you an affectionate handshake, a kiss on the cheek, and let you give them one back.  Later they take you for a speedy ride while you hold onto their fins.  The most thrilling moment of this program is during the foot-push, when you feel all the power of your new friends as they push you across the water by the bottom of your feet.

The Swim Adventure Enjoy a series of sensational activities that create an unforgettable experience!  Your friendly dolphin greets you with a kiss and a handshake, followed by a belly ride and a boogie-board push.  Take full advantage of the free time as you get to know one another while playing.  Be amazed by your Dolphin’s speed, grace and agility.  This is one experience not to be missed.

See your resort host and make reservations for the experience of a lifetime!

Great ideas for the family to visit and see……..

If you go into Boatswain Beach you can swim in the lagoons and go right up to the predator’s tank or walk down the Cayman street and see the locals make their wears.

 Pedro’s Castle – Savannah
